Behind the scenes to my song-writing method

People ask me all the time how I get the inspiration and motivation to write my own song lyrics.
Here's a behind the scenes look at when I did a recording session with my producer Victoria Shaw for "Count On Me. I wrote 7 of the songs on the album.
Songwriting is a lot like reporting the news. I love it! In fact, the song "This Just In" is a love story inspired by those famous words you hear me say from the anchor desk when news is breaking!

Barefoot racin' with NASCAR Champ Jimmie Johnson

Six-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson came to the Atlanta area Wednesday to promote Atlanta Motor Speedway’s Oral-B USA 500 NASCAR night race weekend to the Atlanta business community and race fans.

Jimmie Johnson started the the day with a live interview on Headline News’ Morning Express With Robin Meade. During the session, I challenged Jimmie to a 270-degree racing simulator - I was barefoot just to give him a little edge.
Ha.
