Good times with good friends at Eddie's Attic

@AngieAparo @rivrutherford and I had a great time at Eddie's Attic last night.
It was outing No. 3 since “Count on Me,”.

This time i teamed up with Angie Aparo and Rivers Rutherford — to perform round-robin style, with each of the artists performing one of their songs with the other musicians accompanying.

Both Rutherford and Aparo are primo songwriters, having written hits such as Brad Paisley and Dolly Parton’s “When I Get Where I’m Going” and Tim McGraw’s “Real Good Man” (Rutherford) and Faith Hill’s “Cry” and Miley Cyrus’ “Two More Lonely People.” (Aparo).

I'll be presenting at this year's Gracie Awards for women in media

(2010 photo when I won a Gracie for outstanding news or news magazine anchor - my husband Tim was at my side.)

I'll be giving an award at this year's Gracies.

The 39th Annual Gracie Awards Gala will be May 20, 2014 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Hosted by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF), the Gracies recognize exemplary programming created for women, by women, and about women in all facets of media, including radio, television, cable and new media. The awards program also encourages the realistic and multi-faceted portrayal of women in entertainment, news, features and other programs.

"The Gracie statues have been engraved, and we are looking forward to celebrating this year's amazing Gracie winners at our signature event," said AWMF Chair Kay Olin. "The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation is thrilled to recognize outstanding programming created by, for, and about women at the Gracie Awards."

The Gracies will be hosted by Aisha Tyler, of CBS' The Talk and CW's Who's Line Is It Anyway, and Grammy winning singer, songwriter and record producer Deniece Williams will perform live.
